Oriane started studying architecture at the School of Architecture of Nantes (France) in 2013 and graduated in 2019. Her master thesis dealt with the urban development of French suburbs, focusing on a commercial centre near Nantes. Through a study of urban sprawl and shopping malls, her work focused on the relation between consumer habits and the shape of the contemporary metropolis. Afterwards, this research led her to develop a strategy to transform the area into a more resilient and sustainable place, with a local production network and recycling infrastructure.
During her studies, she had the opportunity to work as an intern in several architectural offices in France, where she acquainted herself with different architectural approaches.
Oriane started working at BRUT in March 2019.
